My Story

- PupKC, Author and Creator -
I have always been curious to learn and
eager to apply my learnings with my own creative Ideas.

I began at age three.
I wanted to build a robot and then a rocket ship. Not little ones, BIG ones! 6 feet tall!
I worked on them for a a long time and then loaded the huge robot in the minivan and
shared it with my pre-school class.
I have continued on with my ideas over the last ten years and
Mom has continued to encourage and support me.
Cardboard creations, theatrical plays, musical shows, lego family tournaments,
baking contests, community service projects, and
even a Disney contest (view Media, I won a 3-D printer before I started Kindergarten!).
You can view a few of my creations in the Gallery .

Fast Forward to today....
What is and Why PupKC?

I LOVE puppies! I love them so much that for my seventh birthday, Mom and I planned a party that included 12 real puppies! Over the last couple of years, I have been asking for my own puppy. Mom and Dad have both explained puppies are not just cute and fun to play with, they are like babies. They need lots of love, quality time and attention. In addition, there are lots of costs and other things to think about like: How will my entire family feel about having a dog? How much time do I have in my schedule? Who will take care of the dog when I am school and after school activities and we go on vacation?

Rather than say "yes" or "no, "
Mom has challenged me and agreed to help me with my largest and most creative project yet!

· Learn everything I need to know about how to choose and care for a puppy
· Show I can do everything it takes to care for a puppy
· Learn the conscious life and entrepreneurial skills necessary to set and achieve a long term goal, sustainably finance my goals, while considering and helping my community and our planet along the way

How?

For the last three years I have been learning how to read, do research and give presentations. Most recently, I have been learning about circle maps, creative writing and using computer applications.
So, I used the things I learned in school to make my puppy plan,
began to research, write my own books and create videos.

In addition, my mom said I have to prove I am ready to take on the “doing” responsibilities of caring for a puppy. This includes being able to feed, brush, wash and walk the puppy (even in bad weather) and pick up poop (yuck!). Thanks to some helpful neighbors and their puppies and dogs, I’ll get the opportunity to show mom I can do it!

Meanwhile, mom is going to teach me, and help me share with all of you, the entrepreneurial skills to build a conscious business that not only helps me be able to pay for all the costs of caring for a puppy, like food, a dog license, and doctors (puppy doctors are called veterinarians), but also helps me give back to my local community and our planet too!

Do I really Want a Puppy? YES!!!

If I accomplish the above, proving I am ready and still want a puppy (I know I will),
then she will be buy me a puppy.

Puppy Kids Creative will be a fun and interactive journey of my
learning, sharing and benefiting others.
This will include all things you need to take care of a puppy, sharing my creations,
and some tips on life and entrepreneurial skills.

On the fifteenth of November 2020, truck pulled up and within it was a furry white with black spotted puppy. It was so fluffy and cuddly miniature sheepadoodle (mix between a Old English sheepdog and a poodle) that my parents had gotten me for my eleventh birthday. I was so surprised when I got home and I saw my little puppy playing with my parents and my grandmother. I immediately fell in love with her. My grandmother suggested we name her Sapphire since she was born in September; the name stuck.

Sapphire has grown so much since then. She is very playful and loves to cuddle with me on the couch. Sapphire has lots of doggie friends - Skylar, Sunnyboi, and Buster. Skylar, a standard size goldendoodle, is her best friend. My Dad says they are sisters from another mother.

In the summer, Sapphire loves to swim in the pool and play volleyball against me (she always wins). In the winter, she loves to play in the snow and chase me when I'm sledding down the hill. She is a healthy and happy puppy and is now three years old.
